Onsite Prevention & Intervention
What is your process when an employee reports soreness while at work? Unfortunately, many employers struggle with this question. In most cases, they find out AFTER the employee has opened a claim and/or taken time off work to seek care that may result in costly imaging, medications, and referrals to specialists. PDRWorks offers a solution to resolve your employee’s soreness while at work, avoiding the recordable, lost time, and worker’s compensation claim all together.
Our Occupational Therapists utilize OSHA First Aid for musculoskeletal soreness which includes: heat & ice, stretching, ergonomic evaluation, soft tissue work & massage, rock & K-Tape, topical gel for pain relief, soft supports, education, and workstation modifications.
In addition to Onsite Therapy, PDRWorks offers job analysis, temporary transitional work (for injured employees), customized body mechanics & stretch programs, industrial & office ergonomics, employee education & training, and post-offer/pre-employment testing. See Services section for more information.
“I have had the opportunity to partner with PDR Works on a number of projects, and I am impressed with their level of professionalism and ingenuity. They are coming up with solutions for the manufacturing industry and pushing us to re-evaluate how we protect our most valuable assets, our people.”

“It has been my privilege to work with PDRWorks, specifically Beth M. She has been instrumental in helping us build our onsite first aid program. Not only do we receive first aid care for our employees, she provides monthly educational topics at our employee meetings to help build a better knowledge base for body mechanics. She has helped us trouble shoot ergonomic improvements for our employees, as well as help us create job demand analysis for our positions to assist in our return to work program. Both our incident rate and DART rate have reduced since we started our partnership with PDRWorks. They offer viable solutions for employers, and I couldn’t ask for a more accommodating partner. PDRWorks is a great company to work with!
“PDRWorks was first recommended by an employee who was enrolled in PDR Clinics’ Rehabilitation. PDR’s approach to treating the injury, pain and the Cognitive Behavioral Coaching impressed our employee so much he discussed the potential of Sowles Co. working together with the clinic and staff to assist other injured workers.
Following this employee referral, I scheduled an appointment to visit the clinic and met with PDRWorks’ Account Executive, Tyler Lowthian and Occupational Therapist, Beth Mayotte. Together we tailored a program benefiting employees suffering from soft tissue injuries or musculoskeletal pain where Beth is able to meet with individuals on site, virtually or in clinic. PDRWorks benefits the employee with their expertise in providing onsite real-time first contact, evaluation and relief. Sowles Co. benefits in knowing that we are partnered with a clinic who has taken the time to obtain an integral understanding of our industry and providing the best in employee care.
Also, PDRWorks has worked together with Sowles Co. to refine our Job Function Analysis, giving doctors an accurate and true depiction of the work an ironworker performs and exposures they encounter on any given day. This coupled with a comprehensive Light Duty Program outlining specific tasks ranging from field, to shop and office tasks is invaluable when doctors see the opportunities provided by the employer. This constitutes a win/win for the employee’s healing and the employer.
I want to extend our sincere appreciation to PDRWorks and PDR Clinics for developing an exemplary program that surpasses many in the industry.”
